Setup & Installation

Follow these simple steps to install and set up TempMail on your preferred browser.

1.Install via Mozilla Add-ons (AMO) or download the packaged extension ZIP.

2.For local testing or manual install, visit about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox.

3.Click Load Temporary Add-on... and select the manifest.json or .zip package.

4.Pin the TempMail envelope icon to your Firefox navigation toolbar for fast access.

Local Session Storage:

Generated inbox tokens and active email addresses are kept purely in your local browser storage (chrome.storage.local) so you can access them across browser sessions.

Yes! TempMail is 100% free to use for generating disposable emails, receiving incoming verification messages, and extracting OTP codes.

How long do temporary inboxes last?

Temporary inboxes and their incoming messages are retained during your active session or up to 24–48 hours, after which they are automatically pruned to preserve server resources and user privacy.

Can other people see my temporary emails?

Every generated address uses a cryptographically secure random token. Only someone who knows your exact generated alias and access token can query that inbox.

What receiving domains are available?

You can toggle between @mail.grisma.info.np and @mail.buyernepal.com directly from the address bar switcher in the extension popup.
